Bourgault finished the 2025-26 season with career highs of 25 goals and 57 points, ranking second on Belleville in scoring. The Montmagny, Quebec native also earned two call-ups to Ottawa and made his NHL debut on December 27 against the Toronto Maple Leafs, in front of passionate hockey fans.
Chance to Complete Full-Time Roster Spot
The new contract gives Bourgault another opportunity to compete for a full-time NHL roster spot while continuing his development within the Senators organization.
The announcement comes as Belleville prepares for a milestone season. The club also revealed its 2026-27 schedule, marking its 10th campaign in the Quinte Bay region. For the first time in franchise history, the B-Sens will open the season at home, hosting expansion rivals the Hamilton Hammers on October 2.
Belleville will also play a special school-day game at Canadian Tire Center on November 18, facing the Laval Rocket in front of thousands of students.
