Summary:
- TigerGaming’s special Heads-Up Display feature tracks player styles, aggression levels, and recent luck.
- The feature is updated after 10 hands and resets each session, without offering any long-term tracking.
- HUF includes detailed stats like VPIP, PFR, and aggression frequency.
The Heads-Up Display (HUD) is a handy tool designed by TigerGaming to help you better understand how both you and your opponents are playing at the table.
Once a player has been involved in at least 10 hands, the HUD activates and begins showing real-time stats during the session.
The feature is only active while you’re seated. Once you leave the table, all the data resets.
At a glance, the HUD displays your opponent’s typical pre-flop style, how aggressive they are post-flop, and whether they’ve been running hot or cold recently. It offers useful insight without storing long-term data, and all the information is session-based.
Five Existing Playing Styles
The HUD categorizes players into one of five styles, based on how they’ve played past hands:
- Nit: extremely tight players who only play a small number of hands.
- Rock: tight players who lean toward passive post-flop play.
- Shark: selective players who tend to be aggressive, raising often and playing with intent.
- Auto-caller: loose and passive players who call frequently without raising.
- Maniac: loose and aggressive players who raise or re-raise more than they call.
These styles are indicators, not guarantees, of how someone might play future hands.
Understanding Aggression
Each player’s aggression is color-coded on their style icon, based on their Aggression Frequency (AFq):
- Blue (Low Aggression): Tends to call more than bet or raise (AFq < 30).
- Silver (Average Aggression): Balanced between betting and calling (AFq 30–60).
- Orange (High Aggression): Favors betting and raising over calling (AFq > 60).
Reading Luck
Luck is determined by players’ cards, based on the last 10 hands as follows:
- Lucky: a player who has won more than 10 big blinds in more than three unique hands.
- Unlucky: a players who has lost more than 10 big blinds in more than three unique hands.
Players can easily hover over any style or luck icon and uncover a short tooltip that explains their current status.
